A DPF Sensor (Differential Pressure Sensor) measures the pressure difference of the exhaust gas before and after the diesel particulate filter or in comparison with the external atmospheric pressure. The DPF Sensor is also used to monitor the soot loading of a particulate filter on a diesel engine.
