AlcoLimit Enforcer 3 Breathalyser |
The AlcoLimit Enforcer 3 Breathalyser is designed for professional use, providing instantaneous %BAC results. It can detect the smallest amounts of alcohol up to 0.001%BAC. Data can be printed out with date, time and %BAC reading. The Enforcer 3 Breathalyser is an ideal breath alcohol screening device for use in the workplace by OH&S staff or by health professionals.
Designed for workplaces where a zero tolerance applies. The Enforcer 3 Breathalyser is a dual mode device; Fast mode is used for rapid testing of a large volume of people indicating "0" "Lo" or "Hi" reading and Normal mode is used for specific digital readout eg. 0.054% BAC. Accessories include: carry pouch, 5 mouthpieces, instructions, wrist strap and batteries.
The most affordable 3 decimal place Australian Standards approved breathalyser on the market today!
AlcoLimit Original now incorporates Flow Control Technology. AlcoLimit's Flow Control Technology means that the sensor checks the flow rate of your breath and must receive an adequate air sample before it will provide you with a reading. This is just one of the safety measures built into the AlcoLimit range.
AlcoLimit's Intelli-sensor Recognition Technology checks the sensor condition every time you use your breathalyser. Stability of the sensor is analysed as well as the level of alcohol residue built-up on the sensor. An indication will be given if the sensor needs recalibration.
Please Note: for accurate results users must wait at least 20 minutes after the cessation of drinking before testing. Use prior to this time will result in inaccurate readings and shorten the lifespan of the sensor.
Recalibration
Recalibration is required to maintain the prescribed accuracy. Each time alcoholic breath is blown into the breathalyser, alcohol residue deposits on the sensor. Over time, this leads to over-inflated readings as the unit reads the residue on the sensor plus the alcohol on your breath.
Recalibration frequency is generally every 9-12 months for personal use and 1-3 months for professional use.
Visit the AlcoLimit Home Page for details and to organise to have your breathalyser recalibrated.
